Office printer: install it in Windows for A4

Office printers (Kyocera, HP, Canon…) print A4 through Windows, not the small receipt.

BME POS prints in two ways:

• Small receipt: sent directly to a thermal receipt printer (58 or 80 mm). An office printer does not understand it and prints blank pages.
• A4 page: goes through the Windows print dialog, so it works with any printer installed there.

Installing the printer in Windows 11

1. Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners → Add device.
2. If it does not appear, choose Add manually and enter the printer's IP address.
3. The generic Windows driver is usually enough, with no internet needed.

Then choose A4 when printing in BME POS.
